2 & 2 Challenge

These reports focus on the foundation of USA Hockey's membership - the 4 to 8 year old age category. To increase participation in youth hockey, a consistent effort must be made to target growth and retention of players in this age category. Analysis of USA Hockey's membership data has shown that growth in the 4 to 8 age category will positively impact the larger 9 to 14 age group for years to come. Conversely, a recent decline in 4 to 8 year old membership is to blame for the current membership situation in the 9 to 14 age range.
